The Honeywell EA122 Automatic Air Vent is designed for automatic and efficient removal of air from heating systems when they are being filled with water.

The bottom of the valve has a vacuum break preventing the formation of an air lock, allowing the release of the air from water.

The Automatic Air Vent 1/8 X 3/8 Inch should be fitted anywhere in the positive pressure side of the system, as long as it is accessible, and is suitable for hot water heating systems and other closed circuit hot waters systems but not wholesome water.
